We are proud of several of our locals and Chief Instructor for being part of a new Aussie CRW (canopy relative work) record recently hosted in Victoria!
At the end of October, Dean Barrowcliffe, Vlasto Zamecnik, Tommasso Liccioli, Marty Letch and Allan Gray travelled to Victoria to join 39 other skydivers to set this new Australian record, 44-way!
Setting a record in CRW is unlike other records because it involves 'hooking up' with other skydivers while under parachute. The risk of entanglement (or wrap) adds to the risk of a record like this. As you can see in the video below, the record couldn't have been any smoother!
Congratulations to the new Aussie record holders!
Wow such an amazing experience !
