Allan Gray – Chief Instructor/ Chief Pilot
Jumping since 1991 Allan has over 5800 jumps. Having spent more than 29 years in the Australian Regular Army, and currently still serving with the Army Parachute Training School part time, he is a current Military Jumpmaster and Free Fall Instructor and member of the Army Red Berets Parachute display team.

A four time Australian record holder, in 2009 he was part of the 26 person CRW diamond which set a new Australian Record, and in 2010 he was part of the Australian Team in the USA which broke three Australian National records in one day over three consecutive jumps of 105, 109 and 112 skydivers. In 2011 he was part of the team which broke the European BigWay record in Poland and in 2013 he hopes to be a part of the World Record attempt of a 500 skydiver formation in Dubai.

Ratings held: Pilot, Senior Parachute Instructor, Tandem Master, Accelerated Freefall/ Static Line Jumpmaster, Instructor Examiner, Licensed Display Organiser and Display Licence Examiner of SA. He is on the SA Parachute Council and is a Board Member of the Australian Parachute Federation.

 

Adam Pemble
Jumping since 1985, Adam is a design draftsman with over 3500 jumps. He has won medals at State competitions for Accuracy and is a member of the Adelaide Tandem Skydiving Parachute Display Team.

Ratings Held: Senior Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Jumpmaster, Pilot, DZSO, Tandem Master, Freefall Photographer, RW Tutor and tireless packer of Tandem Parachutes (when he's not tripping around the world or dancing salsa)! 2007 Lower Light Skydiver of the year!

 

Dave Williams
Jumping since 1997 Dave has over 5,000 jumps. He has competed in the Australian National championships in 1999 as a cameraman for a 4-way team and won Gold at State Meet 2002 for 4 – way open. More recently, he has won Gold in Freefly at the National Championships.

Ratings held: Tandem Master, Accelerated Freefall Instructor and Freefall photographer.

 

Justin Gray
Justin is the youngest son of our Chief Instructor. He did his first Tandem the day he turned 14 (legal age) and has now completed over 600 jumps. Justin has recently graduated from editing and mixing music for your digital video, and now takes the photos and DVD in Free Fall. Justin has also been jetting overseas to the U.S testing his awesome skills in the wind tunnel! GO JUSTIN!

More recently, he decided on a change in career and joined the Australian Regular Army as an Infantry soldier seemingly following in his Dad's footsteps. Hopefully he can get some time off away from his busy schedule to come and play with us real soon.

Ratings Held: Free Fall cameraman and is also well known for his "VB Tandem." Still can't get him to pack though :(

 

Vlasto
Jumping since 1977, Vlasto has just cracked 10,000 jumps. He has competed many many times at World competitions with outstanding results.

Ratings Held: 2007 Lower Light Sexiest Male skydiver. 2008 Lower Light Skydiver of the year. Tandem Master, DZSO, Advanced Parachute Packer, and Display Jumper.

 

Trudi Jones
A nurse by trade and working as a Practice Manager for a local Specialist surgery, Trudi is one of our talented manifest chicks who keeps the Drop Zone moving and the planes in the air.

Ratings Held: Mover and Shaker.

 

Sandy Glenday
Sandy works all types of weird hours as a Laboratory Technician but she is also one of our valued manifest chicks. Don't know how she does it but she always manages to sneak a few jumps in between her work. Maybe one day that Balloon jump will happen!!

Ratings Held: Sandy is a regular skydiver with hundreds of jumps who has jumped out of just about everything she can.

 

Charl Rootman

Jumping since 1992 Charl has over 3000 jumps. He and his wife and two young children recently emigrated from South Africa where he worked as a full time senior skydiving instructor.

Ratings Held:  Senior Instructor, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Tandem Master, RW Tutor and Display Jumper.

Angelique Rootman

Jumping since 1995 Angelique has over 1000 jumps. She is the wife of Charl and mother of two young children recently emigrated from South Africa. She is part of the manifest team but is also an accomplished skydiver and freefall instructor.

Ratings Held:  Freefall Instructor, Manifest chick, and Display Jumper.

Emily Gray

Emily is the daughter of our Chief Instructor. She has done heaps of Tandem jumps, but instead of learning to Skydive at 16, she has started flying lessons.

Emily is also responsible for downloading and editing your DVD and Photos at the end of your jump.
